What We Believe
At Gospel Proclamation Services (GPS), our faith is grounded in the timeless truths of Christianity. We believe that following Jesus transforms lives and brings hope to the world. Here are the core beliefs that guide our mission and purpose:
The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the foundation for all we believe and practice, offering guidance and wisdom for every area of life.
God the Father
We believe in one God, who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God the Father is the Creator of the universe, sovereign in all things, and full of love and grace.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. He came to earth, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, and rose again from the dead, offering salvation to all who believe in Him.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the active presence of the Holy Spirit in the world today. The Holy Spirit empowers believers, guides us into truth, convicts the world of sin, and equips us to live godly lives.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, available to everyone through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by good works, but by God’s grace. Through Christ’s death and resurrection, we are forgiven, made new, and given the hope of eternal life.
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to be a light to the world. The Church exists to worship God, grow in faith, serve others, and share the Gospel.
Baptism and Communion
We believe in the importance of baptism as a public declaration of faith in Jesus and communion as a remembrance of His sacrifice. These are acts of obedience and worship for believers.
The Second Coming
We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, who will come again to establish His kingdom fully. We look forward to the day when all things will be made new, and believers will dwell with God forever.
Evangelism and Discipleship
We believe that every believer is called to share the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. Evangelism and discipleship are at the heart of our mission, as we seek to spread the message of Jesus and equip others to live out their faith.
